July 20th: Retain a shall

Those who want something and long for it, what will you do you after you have it?Those who hide their ambiguity what will you when the curtain falls?
Those who are stubborn on their ignorant, what will you do when fall in love?

You!
What will you do when you at last forget?
A gray hope that will destroy, but will retain a shell?

Come find a purpose, an excitement, an attachment
Come find the will

His look, as blank as a dead man’s eye
Was still looking to a far distance
Waiting

December 17th: If you think about it real hard ...
I don't know if you've got this "Send to all" messages in your messengers which is turning to a kind of spam but sometimes some of them turn out to be quite interesting such as this one :

"If you really think about it you'll realize that life is not worth living and if you think some more you'll see that life is not worth dying for either, but if you really think you'll see that dying and living is worth thinking about , therefore maybe you should always remember that what you have today might have been what you wished for yesterday and might be your biggest wish tomorrow, therefore always try to appreciate what you have today"

December 12th: Micheal Moore in Iran
After seeing the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 an Iranian said " It sure is a great country, where someone like Moore trashes the president and gets away with it - and makes so much money!"
Just imagine if you Moore was in Iran ...

December 10th: The last 16th of Azar and Khatami !

In his last speech for the Students in Tehran university, Khatami faced lot's of hostility and criticism from his main and foremost supporters.

Change comes slow, so slow that sometimes we don't see it's arrival. Sometimes we want, expect and hope for so many changes that we can not ever be satisfied by these slow invisible changes,  so unsatisfied that we drop it... to the ground.

Being scared of losing what you've achieved so far, wanting to satisfy everyone and of course failing to satisfy even one and worst of all being thrown in to the pool of complications and knots not even created by you is part of everyone's life and struggle, but just imagine Khatami amongst us, the never working all wanting Iranian who criticize everything.

Do you remember when you were a hot headed stupid student? Oh I do! And when I compare ourselves with the new generation of students, well I'm pretty proud of us! I have no respect for these guys.

In some part of his speech Khatami said that he kept silent when the whole structure of the government was at stack, well the first thing this reminded me was the words of Imam Ali; "I remain silent to keep the base of Islam intact", but then I stopped and went no further!

All these said I know that we are all disappointed with Khatami, with the way reform is going or actually not going and we don't quit understand why the last 5-6 years he has been so paralyzed and why did he let himself drown in the knot - or traps - left by those before him.

December 8th: Teach me nature to subdue !
Ah wretch! believ'd the spouse of God in vain,
Confess'd within the slave of love and man.
Assist me, Heav'n! but whence arose that pray'r?
Sprung it from piety, or from despair?
Ev'n here, where frozen chastity retires,
Love finds an altar for forbidden fires.
I ought to grieve, but cannot what I ought;
I mourn the lover, not lament the fault;
I view my crime, but kindle at the view,
Repent old pleasures, and solicit new;
Now turn'd to Heav'n, I weep my past offence,
Now think of thee, and curse my innocence.
Of all affliction taught a lover yet,
'Tis sure the hardest science to forget!
How shall I lose the sin, yet keep the sense,
And love th' offender, yet detest th' offence?
How the dear object from the crime remove,
Or how distinguish penitence from love?
Unequal task! a passion to resign,
For hearts so touch'd, so pierc'd, so lost as mine.
Ere such a soul regains its peaceful state,
How often must it love, how often hate!
How often hope, despair, resent, regret,
Conceal, disdain — do all things but forget.
But let Heav'n seize it, all at once 'tis fir'd;
Not touch'd, but rapt; not waken'd, but inspir'd!
Oh come! oh teach me nature to subdue,
Renounce my love, my life, myself — and you.
Fill my fond heart with God alone, for he
Alone can rival, can succeed to thee.

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;

 I wish understanding was not fake and did not derive from personal experience!

December 2nd: First post !

My First post will shout in small words the hollow sound of hope to myself. It will announce itself as "The gray hope" or "Omid Khakestari", it will not be about finding a goal, analyzing and following it.

This site will record all that is hope and all that is Omid, it will be about my struggle, but not about me, it will not try to replace, and Omid Lavasani's weblog will make new vows about the reason for it's existence.

As a technical goal I will experiment with words values in search engines (SEO ) and will try to find the best way to optimize the rank and result of certain words or combination of them in search engines;

My first goal : When you search Omid in google this weblogs ranks as 21st ! I want to raise it to No.1. Right now if you search the name Omid or Lavasani in Persian or Lavasani in English my site will come up. After this I will put harder ( more general) words and then try to rank it number one and maintain it.
